What your cover includes

Our Contractors’ Plant and Equipment insurance provides cover for unforeseen and accidental physical loss or damage to the insured items of mobile or non-mobile plant and equipment whilst at work or at rest, including during transit or whilst undergoing repair.

All risks cover

Cover is provided on an all risks basis for items owned by the Insured, or for items that they have had to hire in, for a variety of perils.

Fire & explosion

Covers damage caused by fire or explosion during the period of insurance.

Storm & flood

Includes cover for weather-related damage such as rainfall, flooding, high winds and other natural perils.

Theft & burglary

Protection against theft or burglary as well as damage caused by these acts and malicious damage.

Earthquake & landslides

Includes damage resulting from ground movement such as earthquakes or landslides.

Accidental damage

Provides cover for accident damage caused by collisions or overturning or operator error.

Where is cover provided

Cover is provided whilst in use on the site of operations, whilst at a facility being repaired, serviced or overhauled as well as on the road for items so registered for road use. Cover can also be provided for these items in the event that they are hired out to other parties.

Third-party liability

Cover for claims arising from injury to third parties or damage to any third party property caused during the operation of the insured items of plant and equipment.
