The 2025 Santam Women of the Future Awards, presented in partnership with FAIRLADY and TRUELOVE magazines, recognises women who are building sustainable businesses that create jobs, tackle social challenges, and lead with vision. 

Now in its 11th year, the awards celebrate women at different stages of their entrepreneurial journey, from start-up to scale, and honour those whose work is rooted in resilience, impact, and the pursuit of long-term change.

This year’s entries were so exceptional that four finalists were selected in the flagship Woman of the Future category, which is a first for the awards. Across three categories, Woman of the Future, Social Entrepreneur, and Rising Star, the 10 finalists reflect a rich tapestry of industries and social impact. 

These are women leading mining firms, launching global beauty brands, designing eco-conscious tech, building trauma-informed community programmes, and creating youth employment through sustainable innovation. Their work is proof of what’s possible when women have the confidence to move forward and the space to thrive. 

By recognising these women, we honour a wider community of entrepreneurs striving to create a South Africa where innovation is inclusive, and leadership reflects the richness of our society. Their work impacts lives directly, and each venture demonstrates a practical response to some of our most pressing challenges from health equity to economic inclusion.
